Frequently Asked Questions

How does SecureSwap verify domain ownership?
When a seller creates a domain deal, we run a WHOIS lookup on the domain name and verify that the registrant information matches the seller's identity. The deal cannot proceed until ownership is confirmed.
What registrars are supported?
SecureSwap supports domains registered with any ICANN-accredited registrar including GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google Domains, Cloudflare, BigRock, and others. As long as the domain has public WHOIS data or the seller can verify ownership, we can escrow the transfer.
What if the transfer takes longer than 7 days?
If the domain transfer is not completed within the 7-day protection window, the buyer receives an automatic full refund from escrow. The seller can then create a new deal if they still want to proceed with the sale.
How much does domain escrow cost?
SecureSwap charges a 4% platform fee split equally between buyer and seller (2% each). There are no hidden charges. Domain deals are supported up to ₹50,000.
